Body Hierarchy, 2021
<Body Hierarchy> explores the societal tendency of idolizing unflawed, intact body types and the psychological distress these harsh expectations impose. The materialistic composition of the individual vessels were carefully chosen for this piece. It consists of self-cast iron, earthenware clay, and porcelain. Certain pottery pieces as well as the base are covered in toxic enamel paint. The reflective acrylic panels serve as self assessing mirrors to the bodies laying inside.
